4.1.2 Government's responsibility. The Government shall be respon-
sible for proof testing. Samples shall be forwarded to the proving
ground designated by the contracting officer (see 6.2).
4.1.3 Objective evidence. The supplier shall provide objective
evidence acceptable to the contracting officer that the requirements
of 3.1 and section 5 for which specific inspection has not been pro-
vided in this specification have been satisfied.
4.2
Quality conformance inspection.
4.2.1 Lotting.
A lot shall consist of the M156 rocket warheads, of
one interfix number, produced by one manufacturer, in one unchanged
process in accordance with the same drawings, the same drawing revision,
the same specification and the same specification revision. However,
no more than one lot of loaded fuzes of one interfix number from one
manufacturer, and one lot of loaded bursters of one interfix number
from one manufacturer shall be represented in any one lot of finished
warheads.
4.2.2 Sampling.
4.2.2.1 For examination. Sampling shall be conducted in accordance
with MIL-STD-105 or MIL-STD-1235. .
4.2.2.2 For ballistic test (proof testing). A random sample of 24
warheads shall be selected from each lot. Each such warhead shall be
marked with an identification number.
4.2.3 Inspection Procedure.
4.2.3.1 For examination. Sample warheads shall be examined in
accordance with the classification of defects and MIL-STD-105 or
MIL-STD-1235 as applicable. If MIL-STD-1235 is used an AQL of 2.5
percent defective shall be applied to each major defect.
4.2.3.2 For ballistic test (proof testing). Sample warheads shall
be tested in accordance with 4.2.4 and 4.2.5.
