3.6 Heating. Coated stabilizing rods shall be heated in an
induction bonding or dielectric heater to obtain maximum bond
strength between-the metal rod and coating. There shall be no
delay-between coating the rod and heating-the rod in the
induction bonding or dielectric heater.
3.7 Performance and Product Characteristic Requirements. The
stabilizing rod shall meet the following performance and product
characteristics requirements .
3.7.1 Composition. The coating material for extruded coatings
shall conform to the chemical and physical requirements shown
in Tables I and II.
